Derek’s creative skills lead all online projects for The Brewhouse. His process involves extensive information architecture, simple user interfaces and solid visual design. With these ingredients he makes beautiful, approachable and easy to use websites. Derek has made Oregon’s most notable Aviation & Space Museum website more inviting and easy to navigate and has built the online sales tool for the official fragrance of the world-famous Pendleton Round-Up. Simply put, Derek dreams in code and speaks in tags. Give him a notebook, some headphones and enough coffee and he will create remarkable things.

I am based in Portland, Oregon and but I enjoy collaborating with different clients across the globe.

When I find some free time I like to spend my time outside as much as possible. Usually, that involves riding bikes around Portland with my Fiance, snowboarding at Mt. Hood or hiking around the great NW. If you’re ever in Portland and want to talk about design or technology you can always buy me a beer – I like those too.
